Call to Order

The York Region Planning Advisory Committee meeting was called to order at 4:02 p.m.

Election of Chair

Mayor Mrakas nominated Regional Councillor DiPaola for the position of Chair of the Planning Advisory Committee for 2021. There being no further nominations, Regional Councillor DiPaola was acclaimed as Chair.

C.

Election of Vice Chair

Regional Councillor DiPaola nominated Norma McClinton for the position of Vice Chair of the Planning Advisory Committee for 2021. There being no further nominations, Norma McClinton was acclaimed as Vice Chair.

The Committee received the presentation by Sarah Cameron, Senior Planner, Long Range Planning regarding Regional Official Plan Update: Housing Challenges and Opportunities. Members were encouraged to provide any additional feedback and input to staff following the meeting.
