Call to Order

The meeting was called to order at 12:39 p.m.

Election of Chair and Vice-Chair

• Mayor Barrow nominated Regional Chair Emmerson for the position of Chair of the Governance Task Force.

  There being no further nominations, Regional Chair Emmerson was acclaimed as Chair.

• Regional Chair Emmerson nominated Mayor Barrow for the position of Vice Chair of the Governance Task Force.

  There being no further nominations, Mayor Barrow was acclaimed as Vice Chair.

• Each member provided an overview of the comments they made during their interviews with the advisors to the Minister of Municipal Affairs on the regional governance review.

  That the Task Force receive the report dated March 14, 2019 from the Chief Administrative Officer.

Regional Chair Emmerson indicated that the next meeting of the Governance Task Force would be held on April 18, 2019.
