Call to Order

The York Region Planning Advisory Committee meeting was called to order at 4:07 p.m.

Election of Chair

Regional Councillor Jones nominated Mayor Mrakas for the position of Chair of the Planning Advisory Committee for 2020. There were no further nominations. Subject to Mayor Mrakas accepting the nomination, the Committee voted to acclaim Mayor Mrakas as Chair. 

C.

Election of Vice Chair

Regional Councillor DiPaola nominated Regional Councillor Jones for the position of Vice Chair of the Planning Advisory Committee for 2020. There being no further nominations, Regional Councillor Jones was acclaimed as Vice Chair.

Regional Councillor Jones then assumed the Chair.

Municipal Comprehensive Review (MCR) Update

The Committee received the presentation by Sandra Malcic, Director, Long Range Planning regarding Municipal Comprehensive Review (MCR) Update.

Vision Update and Input

The Committee received the presentation by Sarah Cameron, Senior Planner, Long Range Planning regarding Vision Update and Input and recommended staff consider reviewing a preliminary draft of Vision for further input by this committee prior to public release.
